Cashew, Ginger and Lime bombs

Easter is nearly upon us, it’s a time we tend to enjoy a little something extra in the way of chocolate! By using organic Cacao powder to make these balls, you’re getting antioxidants, magnesium, calcium, iron and the feel good factor all wrapped up in a ball! My philosophy is not about deprivation when you’re working on a healthier lifestyle, but making better choices (crowd out those not so good ones) making it so much easier.

GF DF V but not taste free!
Here’s how:
Mix together
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup organic cacao
2 TB coconut oil
2 TB almond butter (or other nut butter)
2 TB tahini
1/2 cup cashews (walnuts or, pistachios would be good too)
1/4 cup finely sliced crystalised ginger
Juice of 2 limes
1 TB psyllium husk
1 TB coconuct nectar (or sweetner of your choice)
pinch salt

Mix all together well, roll into balls then in coconut.
Maybe add the lime zest to the coconut – I’ll try that next time!

Enjoy!

I work on the principle of baby steps, don’t try to overwhelm yourself when you’re making changes in your life. These balls are an example of that, simple and easy you can still have yummy things! If you achieve small, manageable steps each day, it becomes the new normal. Congratulate yourself, then onto the next change. Make it simple and doable – you’re far more likely to stick to it.

If you’re ready to make healthy changes so you can live the life you’d like to live,  but feel confused (this is common – you’re not alone) or simply overwhelmed with all the health and nutritional information that’s out there, get in touch with me for a free chat to work out what’s right for you.
We’re all different, which is why I don’t offer a cookie cutter programme.

Not quite ready?

Life is the SUM of all your CHOICES.
